Careers in Sport and Leisure

Networking Events

CSL provides a unique opportunity to bring together many key organisations and individuals from the worlds of sport and leisure. All exhibitors and sponsors will also be invited to a specific evening networking event to meet new contacts and extract extra value from the event from a B2B perspective.

CSL will provide ALL our speakers, exhibitors and sponsors with the opportunity to meet and interact in a number of forums as well as at two specific networking events on the 24th November.

Based on the feedback from 2009’s exhibitors, we are aware that the networking evenings were valued by all that took part and in many cases provided attendees with a number of new contacts and opportunities after CSL.

Exhibitor Drinks Reception

Venue TBC, Wednesday 24th November, 19.30 onwards Drinks and buffet served.

The drinks reception was a definite success in 2009 and provides all our sponsors, exhibitors and speakers that chance to meet in more informal surroundings and make new contacts that are maintained long after CSL. The event is also our way to show our appreciation to all our supporters and say thank you for your continued support.

MY CSL STORY

Eva's Story

I’ve always known that I want to work in the sport industry. I’ve always been an active sort of person and I got involved in coaching netball in the last year or so. I do lots of other sports though and I am quite interested in working in one of those as well.

I know I want a job in sport, I just need a bit of help with the direction to take. I hear Careers in Sport and Leisure is a good place to get this kind of help so I’ll be going.

I wonder if going to university will give me the best chance, although everyone seems to go to university these days so will I have as good a chance of getting a good job by working my way up?
