MY CSL STORY
I followed my friends up to Careers in Sport and Leisure last year, not really knowing what to expect as I hadn’t ever been to a careers event before. I had a great experience listening to quite a lot of the speakers, they gave me lots of ideas and got me thinking about the options that I had.
Being able to speak to the companies exhibiting on the day was a great plus, I was able to talk face to face with someone about the options that I had and they gave me their advice. I left my CV on a number of stands and as a result I now have a job!
I was contacted by Fit For Sport, who were one of the exhibitors at CSL in 2009 and after attending a recruitment day I now work on their activity camps and term time programmes as well as being able to gain extra qualifications through their accredited training courses.
