New to CSL 2010
We don't want to sit and rest on the success of last years event, we want to make it bigger and better with more high profile speakers and exhibitors to give you the information you need.
On top of this there are several new features which aim to provide the 5000 young people who attend with more knowledge, information and opportunities to help them make the right choices for their career.
Interactive areas
Adding that bit extra to the event, the interactive areas allow students to get to grips and try out certain areas from the world of sport and leisure. Whether it be experiencing a personal training session or an aspect from a coaching course the interactive areas will give students a real feel for what they can do.
CV clinics and interview skills
How to write a good CV, get an interview and then doing well in it are very frequently asked questions these days. With unemployment on the rise, getting help and information from Careers in Sport + Leisure will allow students to stand out from the crowd.
'How to' sessions
The 'How to' sessions have been specifically designed to answer some of the most common questions facing your people looking to work in the sport and leisure industry such as how to get work experience, how to get a job, how to work abroad, how to make myself stand out from the rest and how to build up and utilise my contacts.
CV drops
New to CSL 2010, CV drops allow all delegates to bring along copies of their CV and place them in drop boxes for specific organisations that are of interest to them. This feature of the show further increases the link Careers in Sport + Leisure provides between companies within the industry who can provide opportunities and students looking for careers in the industry.
As our programme is confirmed, we will further update the website, so make sure you register your interest today so we can let you know about the latest developments and discounted tickets for the event.

MY CSL STORY
I followed my friends up to Careers in Sport and Leisure last year, not really knowing what to expect as I hadn’t ever been to a careers event before. I had a great experience listening to quite a lot of the speakers, they gave me lots of ideas and got me thinking about the options that I had.
Being able to speak to the companies exhibiting on the day was a great plus, I was able to talk face to face with someone about the options that I had and they gave me their advice. I left my CV on a number of stands and as a result I now have a job!
I was contacted by Fit For Sport, who were one of the exhibitors at CSL in 2009 and after attending a recruitment day I now work on their activity camps and term time programmes as well as being able to gain extra qualifications through their accredited training courses.
